SMART Swim Centre is a highly qualified family business covering all aspects and disciplines of swimming, holding all major qualifications from the Internationally recognised Swimming Teachers Association (STA). As a team, we believe swimming should be accessible for all.
Many of the team members are qualified swimming teachers, lifeguards and pool plant trained. Through the qualifications held and years of experience, everyone can experience the love of water through the inclusive SMART Swim Centre timetable, as a multitude of sessions and services are on offer. These include, swimschool lessons, early lanes, lunch swims, evening swims, public swims, family swims, additional needs, baby splash, aquafit, swim clinics and school swimming. Birthday parties and private hire is also available to suit individual and group needs.
The Management team consists of Aquatic, Lifesaving and First Aid tutors, with our lead tutor being one of a few of the countries National STA Tutor's. This allows the team to complete on the job training, providing immediate employment and opportunities for the South Molton community.
Individual Team Members fulfil other professional roles outside of the SMART Swim Centre, which all interlink allowing the centre to provide positive experiences, high quality sessions and personal customer service. Within the team we have Nanny's, school teachers, nursery practitioners and the South West Special Olympics Head Coach (where trained swimmers have won medals at the British Down Syndrome Championships). The team also develop into Personal Training, Sports Massage and Dance, all which allows further education and knowledge to be given to those at the higher swimming level.
Charity is also a key focus to the SMART Swim Centre. The team believe in giving back to the South Molton community and continually work on how everyone should have access to the aquatic, recreation and training environment.
